Poor change management and
inadequate control over systems development within
the company's billing system resulted in major invoicing
problems and a significant outstanding debt issue
for a national parcels delivery company.
Taking an independent and objective view, coming from
outside of the organisation, we were able to identify
a number of process and procedural weaknesses.
Also engaged to manage the development
of IT systems, we were able to implement an effective
solution, re-establishing operational control and management
confidence.
Starting
with an escalating debt problem, the situation was
stabilised within two weeks. Upon completion £2.4m
of outstanding debt had been brought back to the company's
budget of £500k.
