The
worlds largest manufacturer of microprocessors needed
help with the introduction of a new staff benefit
to its worldwide headcount of some 80,000 employees.
The European rollout spanned 22 countries, each with distinctive treatment of
tax liabilities.
Help was provided in the determination of 'benefit in kind' tax liabilities,
documentation and communication with employees and the implementation of payroll
processes to offset employee liabilities to be paid by the employer, inline with
each of the 22 tax regimes.
This work was scheduled to integrate with company's programd rollout of the benefit
across their operations.
